Meet Paul Simon                   Q & A: Paul Simon & Charles Kuffner interview
Paul worked his way through college,
    graduating from the University of
    Houston with honors. While attending
South Texas College of Law, he made
the Dean’s List four times and earned
the highest grades in both Constitutional
Law and International Civil Litigation, and
again graduated near the top of his class.

After graduating law school, Paul worked
as a briefing attorney for the Senior
Justice on the Fourteenth Court of
Appeals. After spending one year on the
court of appeals, he joined Winstead, a large Texas-based law firm. In early 2006, Paul started
his own law firm, a Firm which was founded upon the principle that everyone is entitled to
justice, not just the powerful. Today, Paul’s Firm has a diverse client base that has Paul
representing both plaintiffs and defendants on issues ranging from consumer protection to
commercial litigation, from personal injury to fraud, from real estate disputes to workplace
discrimination and on-the-job personal injuries. A large part of Paul’s practice is representing
impoverished families who have been taken advantage of by an large area real estate
    company.

But Paul is committed to more than just excellence in law. He is also committed to his
community. He volunteers his time tutoring grade school children in the inner-city; serving as
“judge” for law school students teaching them how to become better lawyers; and he has
served as Chairman of several committees for Baylor Research Advocates for Student
Scientists (BRASS), a charity that awards scholarships to Baylor medical students.
Throughout his career, Paul has also performed literally hundreds of hours of pro bono or
reduced-fee legal services for individuals who cannot afford to pay for
